scientific name    Aphelia koebelei    

The forewing is dull yellow to grey with fine brown reticulations. Darker brown shading forms a faint median band and apical patch most visible near the costa. The hindwing is white and slightly more greyish on the anal half of the wing. It is similar to A. alleniana and can be separated by characters of the male genitalia (Obraztsov 1959).

Known from very few specimens.

Alberta and the Northwest Territories east to Newfoundland, also in Washington.
